Is downloading tv shows watching them then deleting them illegal? I mean it's not like I'm distributing them or making profit off of them and they are on public television. It's like recording them and watching it later. :S Also what can you do legal with torrent programs. I see nothing like "legal" in there or p2p programs...

Well I don't like to delve into what is legal and what isn't as I am usually wrong and there are plenty or people who know better ;)

But as for d/l'ing from Torrents, if you download a free trial or movie trailer - or such material, then it isn't illegal

    Little info :)

These questions are just plain stupid.
But for the sake of not being a total @sshole for a change, i'll provide some answers.
Downloading anything YOU don't own copyright to is ILLEGAL.
There's no point in arguing over it, that's how the laws are set up, end of discussion.

As for what you can do legally with torrents or P2P, well, how about exchanging home-made software, linux distributions, unlicensed films and music, GNU software, etc.

Demo versions of programs are partially unlicensed, and are MEANT to be distributed as a means of promotion.
