well, i dont know how to change it to tv shows under the menu, but i would think you could just create a playlist titled "TV Shows" and drag and drop all files into the playlist...

j_carloph, I have exactly the same problem.

Basically, in the graphic under "Viewing Videos on iPod" on this page here http://www.apple.com/support/ipod101/photo/4/, I [bold]don't[/bold] have the 'TV shows' category option.

    Very annoying!

...same issue. I restored my iPod and noticed that TV Shows were not coming up under Videos. In the new iTunes you have the ability to change the tag to TV Show. If you change the tag back to Movie, it will come up, under Movies of course. Another interesting thing is that if you hook your ipod to your computer, and do a search in itunes on your ipod, it shows that it is on there.

I also download "Lost" from the iTunes store. This is when the TV Show menu showed back up on my iPod. I think this is really the answer to your post.

I am also having the video freezing issue. I have a feeling Apple is going to make some major changes to iTunes. Maybe something more like iMedia.

I am using 1.1 and I know that this is the issue. I wonder why there are so many issues with this version? I used Handbrake for all of my DVD's using the same settings for all of them. I would say that 60% of them have the freezing issue.

I am not sure, but one thing's for certain, this firmware is very buggy, and not one of apple's best moves. I recommend all who have the version 1.1 downgrade to version 1.0.
