    Hi,

I need your help to solve problem with my laptop?

I have got HP Pavilion 9646em, AMD Turin 64 x 2 TL 58 Processor, 1.9 GHz, 1600, MHz FSB, 1 MB Cache, 2 GB, 160 GB, Window Vists (R) Home Premium. I had bought this laptop while I was in UK but now I am temporarily staying in Serbia. A PCMIA TV tuner and Antenna were supplied along with the laptop, by the supplier from whom I had bought my Laptop in UK.

My problem is, TV tuner does not produce any images in my laptop since the very first day, I had received my laptop. Either I do not know how to play it or the problem is something else.

The tuner is very well recognised by the laptop every time and it says the tuner and the drivers are working well. The blue light on the tuner lits when I insert that into the laptop and remains lit till I take that out. My computer does not hang before, during or after, on insertion of TV tuner or scanning.

The soft ware in the quick play very well scan’s for the TV channel but the laptops screen remains black during and after scanning.

After completion of scanning, when I click to see TV channel list or want to play TV. The only thing I can see is black screen.

I could not attach the image of the PCMI tv tuner because I could not find the way to attach the image with this thread here. The model no. of the tuner is HP express card DVB-T TV Tuner, model – EC300, HP PN- 412110-001, HP spare-412175-001.

Thanks in anticipation for your all helps in this regard.

    Thanks

    DS Negi
