I put a deposit down on the Twilight Blu-Ray being sold. Today we just got a call that the deposit we put down will be refunded b/c Walmart bought the exclusive rights to sell the Blu-Ray version. What kind of crap is this? I am betting that Walmart will be selling it for much more than the Blockbuster price. I called to Blockbusters on in Denver Co and another in Charleston S.C. and they had the same story.. What gives? wouldn't they have know before.. Just needed to wine a little JAy
I heard about this back in Feb but i can't seem to remember where i read about Wal-mart having the Rights to Blu-Ray...I told the store manger of Block Buster here about that this week & she told me it wasn't true i guess we will see today when i go to the store.
Don't know where you got the info about Wal-mart and Blu-ray. Target is advertising it in their weekly ad. From an article today in Video Business: http://www.videobusiness.com/article/CA6645683.html?industryid=47212 "In addition to the Saturday release, Summit has taken a highly fragmented aproach to retail distribution of the title making the basic single-disc DVD for sale only at Wal-Mart, the Blu-ray Disc available only at Target and Best Buy and an elaborate two-disc special edition with exclusive content available only at Borders." You were at BB, you could've gotten the Blu-ray there.
