The way I got a two disc movie onto one DVD-5 is I ripped both discs to my HD then used DVD Shrink in 'Re-author' mode to get the main title from each folder...I don't know of a way to get a two discs movie to one DVD-9 , err dual/double layer, sorry hope this helps...

yes i agree with XxRUINSxX this is a really good, effective way of getting a two disc movie onto a normal dvd-5. I use VSO DivxToDVD to convert your mpeg / avi file or whatever filetype it is. This then gives you the ts folders etc. Do this for both of the discs you are trying to put onto 1 disc. Then open dvd shrink and select the re-author button at the top. Now select the folder which contains the vide ts folders. Open the ts folder and it will contain "title 1". Drag this into the top left hand window (above the black preview window) then find the folder containing the converted disc 2. Open its ts folder and once again you wil find it contains another "title 1". Drag this into the top left window as before. Now you are ready to save this as one big file. You can burn it straight from dvd shrink but i have found this not to work very well for me so i save it to hdd first then open nero (or similar burning program to burn it). So to save this to your hdd as one big file click the backup button and it and as i said before you can save it to hdd (as i do) or burn it straight from shrink if you have the correct software. If you are going to now burn this using nero open nero and select dvd as the type of disc. Then select burn dvd video files (under the photo and video tab)It now brings up a new screen showing an audio ts folder and video ts folder. Double click the video ts folder then when it has opened right click then select add files. Now locate the big file that we have just created using dvd shrink. It should now add the file into nero and now just select your burn settings etc etc as usual. I hope this helps you if you need any help then please just ask :)

Back both movies up to your C: Drive or hard drive using DVD Shrink. Once this is done. Open Nero RECODE2 "Remake A DVD" Click on import titles. Go to your C: Drive and select the 2 titles you wish to put on 4.7GB Blank DVD disc. Select "Main Movie" for the 1st film then main movie for the 2nd film. Now there will be no "On Disc" menu but you can take advantage of your stand alone DVD players "Chapter & or "Title Menu" option Now "Click next" and select the "High Quality" (Slow Burn)mode. Then select burn and wait 10 to 20 minutes depending on the size of the compressed file.:p (Originally posted 02/06/06). You can find NERO here at the "afterdawn" website.
