i started with two avi files on a mac - each one was 699mb - i wanted to move them so i tried putting them on a cdr but they wouldnt fit even though the cdr suppose to hold up to 700mb - so i split them up and each segment ended up being about 350mb - i moved them to my pc - then i joined them together with virtualdub and ended up with a 1.7gb avi 2hrs and 40min long - it is all there from beggining to end - the next step was to convert it to dvd so i used cucusoft which turned it into 3 files - an mpeg, an m2v and an m2a - i authored the later two with IFOedit and burned it with Nero and ended up with a dvd of the first 18 minutes of video - my second attempt was with AVI2DVD - that time i ended up with a dvd of the first 30 minutes of the video - still over two thirds missing as its suppose to be 2hrs40min? any and all help is appreciated - thanks

Why don"t you just use a Real DVD authoring program to put the Files on to DVD after you have encoded them to DVD compliant mpeg-2 files....

Something like "Tmpgenc DVD author" is easy to use and Stable and is free for 30 days....

    Cheers
