Hi, I have a 7.68GB DVD I created that I first want to burn to hard drive then later I will burn it to 8.5GB DVD DL disk. During the making of the movie I got this message:Your project currently exceeds the capacity of a normal DVD, but still fits onto a DVD-9 disc. You need a DVD-9 media to record your project on. Do you want to have the project quality reduced automatically so that your project will fit into the available space? If you click No, the project size will be expanded to DVD-9. To proceed I choose No but once I am at the writing out stage I can not proceed. I get a message saying "Not enough space for temporary files in the specified folder" I know I have plenty of space on my HardDrive to write these movies out. Can anyone tell me how I can burn my 7.6GB movie to a 8.5GB DVD but first I want to burn it to my Hard Drive. Thank you in advance.. Justin.
you don't tell us what software you are using, but, it should offer you to save the project to the hard drive at your own specified location on your hard drive (whether you have to set the settings for the program to save to hard drive or whether it asks you to save to hard drive). Look in your settings..... it should allow you to either burn or save project! and if it does then you can save it to the hard drive, ready to burn when you have a DVD9 (DL disk).
