I've tried the "no proxies" option and the others as well but there's something I'm just not doing right...I'm using Windows XP with People PC internet connection. Can anyone help?
First call your ISP tech support for connection issues. Here are the install steps: open Yahoo home page> sign in> click Messenger button> download(Messenger 8.1)> click Get started button> click Run> click Run again> Install welcome window appears> next> uncheck the boxes> then click Custom Install> uncheck all but Desktop icon> next> put check in yes to agree box> next> Install. I didn't go any further. I didn't wan't Yahoo messenger for myself. Let me know what steps you took, what happened after where I left off. Write the steps you took down on paper and post them here.
