Ok, I'm not a newbie to this whole thing and have very rarely had problems making movies work. Over the past few days, I have had problems with some discs (not all new releases either. First, I am using two different brand DVDR drives and have been using DVD-SHrink (latest version), DVDecrypter (last known version), FixVTS and AnyDVD (latest Version). When I go to rip to the hard drive I get errors no matter how I try. WHen I look at the discs, altho they were clean at first, they now have two "rings" around the data side of the DVD! I don't know if it is some new copy protection or what? The movies I have tried are "The Lake House", The Stuff, The Mangler and one other. Only the Lake House is a new release so I am at a loss! Any help? They are rentals so I don't want to have any problems returning them and they will all play fine on the DVD player!
@godhead IF I WAS YOU I WOULD B EDITING THAT POST ASAP!! READ THE FORUM RULES ABOUT PIRACY. If you get caught with that you might get suspended or mayb not cause ur a newbie but u'll get a warning. Jozza321
And also godhead. I read somewhere (dont ask where i dont remember) that stuff like that happens to dodge discs (im not blaiming it on the discs at this point in time just a suggestion) Jozza321
