"unable to obtain ip address"

I recently bought a pluscom WU-ZD1211B wifi dongle as my router was incompatible with the ds. With this installed i pick up the wireless connection, but when i test it i get the message:
"Error code: 52001

unable to obtain IP address. move withing range of the access point or check DHCP settings."

Im sitting right next to the access point. What am i doing wrong?

 

I've never used this product, but you might want to look at their forums. Here's a guide that describes how to setup a connection with the DS/Wii.

got it working on my xp computer. Seems that the utility program is uncompatible with vista

 

Yeah, I saw that when I was reading about it. Someone mentioned using a different driver. Here's the link that deals with getting it to work with Vista.
