Underworld bad sector error

anybody get the problem when u try to use any of the DVD to one DVDr programs thats when its gets around 40% of encoding that it gets an error and stops due to a bad sector? i have used 2 different DVD's of underworld and get the same error. I also used every DVD program that converts the whole disk to one and they all get stuck at 40% or freeze or automatically close, hell, i even read the forums and used AnyDVD to know avail. please help?!

Haven't heard of that (a "glitch" with DVD2One) but sounds like it is definitely time to try another program -

I backed up Underworld using Nero and Dvd shrink and it worked flawlessly.

i think i got it. i just bought a new TDK 8x Dual format Writer Drive. now it works. my old Sony 2.4x burner is starting to die
