Ok, I have a softmodded box and I want to get on Xbox Live but when I put the CD in to set up Live, I get the message that my xbox needs service please contact customer support in like 8 languages so I'm thinking I need to put the original files back on my xbox so how can I do that?
I have helped a few of my friends on my f.l. on halo get online w/ their softmods. I had them use the s.c. exploit, but not krazies. They had the same problem, all you ahve to do is turn off all your computers...or w/e else is on ur network. Turn ur router and modem off. Then turn the router and modem back on. Put the disc in ur xbox and turn it off. Then turn it back on so it will boot right to the disc and not ur modded dashboard. This should allow you to get on live. If you do not want to risk it then press your eject button to turn ur xbox on and there should be the linux installer (if you did it the way I did all my friends softmods), and you can select restore backup...that is if you created a backup. Man, I wish that I knew...but I don't know anything about krazies. Have you tried pressing the eject button to turn it on? That might load up linux or something...then you can look for "Restore Backup" and "Uninstall Softmod". But go to http://www.xbox-scene.com and go to their forums. A lot of people there use Krazies install. Sorry if this isn't much help.
i had the same thing and i freked out. i turned off the xbox and booted it back up with splinter cell and reinstalled the softmod. boot it witha game like splinter cell and reinstall a dashboard.
Can anyone help with uninstalling my evolutionX soft mod? I looked everywhere and I couldn't find a system restore. I want my old dashboard again. Thanks
