I upgraded to a cable connection so I no longer need the Pci card with the phone jacks. (Is that the modem? And I will be ok if I uninstall this from the device manger)?

I have no open PCI slots and I want to make room

    device manger,Modems
Intel(R) 537EP V9X DF PcI modem. then just uninstall.

    Is that correct?
I have a lot of stuff going on,on this PC I dont wanna mess anything up. thank you.

all ye have to do is just pull the card..do not worry about the driver..if some time if ye need the driver it will be there..
it will not hurt the system if left there.
    cheers
