Hello I am having terrible trouble trying to delete Nero 7 Demo, it shows in add/programs 255mb, when I search for it, it does not find anything, I have tried the nero cleaner, ccleaner, registery cleaner and don't know what else to do. Can you help? Thanks J
You can reinstall the program then try again to uninstall it, or there is a possibility that the program is gone, but the Control Panel 'Add/Remove' entry has not been removed. If that is the case, the Control panel entry can be removed by removing its reference in the Registry, however it should not be attempted casually - a new install and uninstall would be prudent. As a precaution, after step 1,before step 2, you can click 'File' > 'Export' and save a copy of the registry. If it ends in tears, you can click 'File' > 'Import' and reload the registry from the saved file. 1. Start the Registry Editor by clicking RUN from start menu and entering ‘regedit’ without quotes. 2. Open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / SOFTWARE / Microsoft / Windows / CurrentVersion / Uninstall 3. Delete any reference to 'Nero' in the 'Uninstall' folder list. After any change to the Registry, reboot.
