Okay so i've been burning cds using itunes and nero express.
The music and files that ii burn all work correctly.
Meaning that the music plays and everything.
But when ii put it back in the computer it says
    "unknown album & artist" ( track 1 , track 2 etc )
how can ii fix this to where it says the artist name and stuff ?

I too have this problem when putting the cd back to iTunes. Is there a way to fix this so that the names of the artist/album are there on the cd?

    Thanks!
    Carl

BTW, blivetNC, since you seem to know where all the threads are at, why don'y you give us a link to it??? Would offer a little more help than "see other post."

Got lost in the multiposting as well.
Windows media player, and some CD label printing programs (Sure Thing Label Creator, Nero) will access the internet and match their track info with known databases of albums, just make sure that it can access the internet on its own. Check under the options tab, library under Windows Media Player. However, if this is a custom compilation it won't find it on its own and you'll have to manually add and name the tracks each time. (A pain I know)
I assume that you want the info to print on a disk or album cover/case?

Normal audio CDs do not store tag data. If you want to see tag information you will need to use a different CD format. Mp3 CDs can store some tag info. You need software that supports this. These will not play on normal CD players. You will either have to play them on a computer or on a CD player that supports both MP3s and text displays. They are GREAT. You can hold 100-200 tunes on one CD with the tag info.

I would also suggest upgrading your tools but they are not the problem in this case.
