i've tried every iso creation program and several burning options. i can get my EvoX CD to load from a cdrw but that's it. whenever i try to boot my new backed up game the status in the top right of the dashboard screen says "unknown" what can i so to get them recognised? all help much apprietiated.
First check your Xbox DVD drive make: Check out http://www.system-mods.com/cgi-bin/pd/kb.cgi?view=43&lang=en if you are unsure. So if you have the samsung drive, apparently, it might not read DVD+RW media.
i have the philips drive. i checked the system mod website you gave and found that: "Philips Drive: Will not read CD-R Will read SOME (generally expensive media) CD-RW Reads all DVD-R/RW Does not read DVD+R/RW" i have been using dvd+R/RW thanks very much for this information. i off to try some - media adam
