I have some mpg files that I am trying to convert to Divx. They have the mpg extension but Windows media will not play them as well as other players. They play fine in my DVD player. Dr. Divx gives unsupported file format. GSpot sais Non-AVI file and give no information on them. Is there a way to tell what format they are and are they convertable.
You may need to download or update your DVIX Codec for Windows Media Player before you play the files.
