unlock 6230i from telcel, mex

    hi, can someone help me unlock my nokia 6230i, type:RM-72 with
    IMEI: 359775000126874 from telcel mexico ?

    1. Insert a non accepted sim, most times it will show "Phone Restricted"
    2. Press the UNDO option
    3. You should see a box that says enter restriction code.
    4. Enter the code given and then press (OK)

    thanks, but that didn't work. i tried the two ways, with the sim card in and out, with #, two times *, etc...
    any other suggestions?

    What was the message after you inserted the code?

    "operation prohibited" or "operation restricted" or "invalid operation", something like that, don't recall exactly,

    “operation restricted” means. After you have made 5 attempts or even 3 attempts on newer phones and failed, the phone displays that message, meaning that the phone is "hard locked." At this point, you will still be able to use phone with the original provider, but you will not be able to unlock it by codes. You will need to take or send it to a professional for direct unlocking service.
