I would be grateful if someone can provide an unlock code for a Nokia 3120 on the UK Orange network. IMEI is 355680003410222

    Thanks.

    [bold] #pw+437987554572336+7# [/bold]

Your code:Try this ONCE and ONCE only. Remember,
you only get 3 to 5 tries.
[bold]If you enter the same code two times[/bold],
    that is [bold]two tries.[/bold]
    To enter code:
    Make sure battery is charged.
    Remove SIM first.
    Power on.
    Ignore “Insert SIM”
    Press the # key.
then press the "star" key (*) quickly to get the P and W and +
    Press * 3 times quickly for (p) \
Press * 4 times quickly for (w) IMPORTANT
    Press * 2 times quickly for (+) /
and the rest of the code---
Begin with # and end with #.

    IMPORTANT!!
Verify code before pressing the last #.
Pay attention. You only have about two seconds.

    "Phone restrictions off", it's unlocked.
"Error code" wrong code. STOP tell me.
"Not allowed" or "Can Not Undo Restriction" it's hard locked.
Used up all your free tries!!

If it does not work, tell me: What happened? What message
you got. What codes you tried.
    Above all, answer.

    Hi JG,

Thanks for the reply. I actually despite your warning took 2 tries before I got it right. Afraid the response was "Code Error" with a No Entry symbol.

New SIM says "Phone restricted" with a stop symbol.

Yes - original SIM is OK. Please don't worry about this. I really appreciate your input but this procedure is much hairier than I anticipated and I'm worried about hard locking the phone which I presume means it turns into junk. The phone just about works in the house we have moved to but reception is poor and I thought getting a SIM for another carrier would be good thing to try. Ho hum.

A hard locked phone will still work on the original Network.
It just will not unlock by entering a code. You will need to take it to a professional with the equipment if you want it unlocked.

The code I gave you is correct.
You need to enter the code as given.

You are the Man! I must have made a mistake the last time because this time it worked a treat. Fantastic. New SIM in and working. Really, really grateful.

Does this unlock code apply to any Nokia 3120 on any network?
Mine is a Type RH19 on Vodafone ES (Spain) and I need to unlock it to take a UK SIM. My IMEI is 354329/00/754277/7. Sorry if this is all too simplistic for you guys but all I want to do is make and receive calls. I don't know or care how the phone does it!! Guess I'm just broken down on the hard shoulder of the information super-highway!

I suggest you have a look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SIM_lock. This gives some idea about this subject. My understanding is that the unlock code is specific to the Country, Network and EMIE number. I suggest you start a new thread with a request for your parameters. It took a few days but it worked for me.
