    Unlocking my NOKIA 6010 - US
    IMEI is : 01559/00/693539/2
    Now i want to use this in India.

    I need help to Unlock - it says "insert sim" with out sim, if I insert sim it says "restricted"

    In the back panel it is mentioned that: Cingular

    6010's from the USA will never work in India because the frequency is not compatible for it.

    India uses GSM 900/1800 MHz and your 6010 can only work with GSM 850/1900 MHz and there is nothing that can be done to make it work unless big money was spent on the phone changing out the insides. Not worth it.

    Thanks for the update.

    But if I want to use it in US with other networks what will be the key.
    any have I am moving to US next month.
