To all, I have the following phone: Nokia: 2600 IMEI: 355669004760271 Network: O2 Country: Germany Let me just say that I picked up the phone in Kosovo, but below the IMEI on the rear plate it says O2-DE. Also, it says O2 when I turn the phone on. I have tried 2 companies to get a code to unlock this phone, but nothing has worked yet. I have tried to unlock it with and without the SIM card and all I get is "NOT ALLOWED". I am looking to see if someone can help me with the right code and if not, what is the procedure to unlock it via cable? Thanks and I hope this can be resolved, AJA 116
“Not allowed” means. After you have made 5 attempts or even 3 attempts on newer phones and failed, the phone displays that message, meaning that the phone is "hard locked." At this point, you will still be able to use phone with the original provider, but you will not be able to unlock it by codes. You will need to take or send it to a professional for direct unlocking service.
