Telstra is hard to unlock.Try other sim,possible wasnt locked.

Just tried my old Vodafone sim, and it wouldn't accept it. I presume this means it's locked to Telstra only? When I purchased the phone, the salesman told me it was locked to Telstra too, and that it would cost me approx $75AU to get it unlocked, which would be nice if I could avoid that
