Hi JG Many thanks for your help. The phone was unlocked just before you replied using the +1 code ie 411827742132145. Thing is all she had to do was put in the code at the prompt - she didn't use the non numeric characters at all. Can you use either? anyway much appreciated.
The code and method is correct for that model phone. Whole code. # to # I am amazed that what she entered would work. What was the message on the screen after entering the code? Where did that code come from? J
a piece of software called worldunlock44 or something. Anyhow it suggested she put the whole thing in but she only put the numeric in and it worked. she cant remember any other details - sorry ! Definitely went from locked to unlocked though.
