unlocked phones but no signal

hello,

i bought a nokia 6230b in america and unlocked it with code #, #pw+10289452450204+7#, and i brought it overseas to have it work. but it is accepting sim cards but has no signal. can anyone help. i am also having the same problem with a nokia 3120b model.

i have already unlocked these phones. they are not getting a signal??

when i inserted SIMs in america they worked fine. but when i brought them overseas they are not getting a signal??

does anyone know why??
