    Hi

I had asked cingular to provide me with codes to unlock my 6030. they gave me 2 codes one each for RM225 and RM75. Mine is RM 75 but when i tried the code for RM75 it did not work so i tried the other code (one for RM225) and it seemed to work. but now when i tried putting in a sim from a different carrier, it loads properly but does not function. i tried multiple sim cards but none work.

i am now left with 1 try before its hardlocked.

As i was reading through the treads, i found that there are 2 codes that need to be tried. i guess one worked for me and now i need another i suppose

here is my IMEI - 011114000260246

    code for RM225 - 729170553127353 (this worked)
code for RM75 - 106345568181065 (this did not work)

i have only 1 try left.

    please help ASAP!!!

It's only one code for unlocking your model. Canadian models require 2 codes.

Well i did try that code and it said the phone was not restricted.

but it does not work when i put a european sim.

is there something i am missing.

when i put the sim, it accepts the sim and adds a menu item to the list with the providers name.

however i do not have any reception even in the heart of the city.

could it be a problem with the service or the sim itself?

    help is much appreciated!!!

900/1800 for Europe but the phone you have is dual band for USA frequency GSM 850/1900 MHz

It's good for USA and Canada or any other country with GSM 1900 MHz
