I just bought a new Athlon X3 435 processor, and am currently looking at motherboards. I have been reading about the possibility of unlocking the fourth core of the processor, and have read that about 50% of them are stable enough to run. When you do unlock this core, if it is unstable, is their an option to go back to three core, and retain the stability that was there before unlocking the fourth core? Also, what do you recommend for a motherboard with a good BIOS? I've read teh new SUS BIOS is fairly decent for this. Any help would be great, thanks guys.

I havent ever looked into unlocking the fourth core but my guess would be that its doen through the bios. So yes should this be unstable you can always undo the bios or clear cmos.

Any Gigabyte mobo that supports the Athalon X3 should get the job done.
