i have files named .rar00-.rar93 and when i try to extract it using WinRAR it says something like you can't extract a file more than 4GB. after you extract it, it is suppose to be a .img file.
Never extracted a file so huge. But do you have 4 GB free space on your HD? It might a warning for 'not enough space'...
i have lots of space left. i have 58.4GB left. i use windows me. maybe it might be my computer. i was reading something about FAT32 i dont what that is but it said you need to convert to NTFS or something please help.
I believe you may have to upgrade to XP but, i could be mistaken, from what you said your HD is currently in the FAT32 (Used in all pre-XP versions of windows except 2000 I believe) the file limit for a single file in FAT32 is >4GB, you need to change your drives file format to NTFS (you can do that if you upgrade to XP, it gives you that option) I don't know of any other way to change the format to NTFS. P.S. Backup anything you have that is important (pictures, movies etc. stuff that is unrecoverable) to disks (should not be to bad if you have a DVD burner) then, go upgrade to XP (Home or Pro, home is only $90-100, for the upgrade edition), once you have your disk in NTFS format, you can extract your .rar00-.rar93 to the HD.
Ahhh, that's your problem...and if for some reason its not, it will be. ME is perhaps the worst incarnation of windows ever developed, I recomend your upgrade immediately to either windows 2000 or xp. And be sure (once, and if, you upgrade) to format your harddrives to NTFS to alleviate all the annoyances and problems associated with FAT32.
