i ripped and burned all 6 cds with alcohol 120%. i used the burned one to install and it install fine. but when i try to play it, it tells me to put in original disc instead of backup. any suggestion on how to get around that? thanks
Well done , you should be congratulated for ripping and burning .But if you like the game so much why not buy it instead of trying to pirate it!!!! Sorry no help this end...............
I bought the UT2004 DVD edition and I backed it up. I haven't pass it on. Read the forum rules regarding piracy. @dnegel, Hard to say need more info. What copy protection is being used?
i'm not trying to sell it or anything. just wanted two copies of it since i have two computer at my house. one for inside my room and one for whoever is using it outside. i don't like it when people come inside my room to take my stuff to use including games.
again I have UT2004 DVD edition. I don't need the original in the drive once installed. I've got it installed on two pcs.
After you install it just use the official patch since it removes the need to run the game from a disc.
