Until last week,i had no problem burning my dvd's. I'm using DVD Shrink v3.2 and Nero v6.When it comes to the burn process,it fails with the message 'unspecified target error'. I have been using the same dvd-rw's from Philips and they didn't give me any trouble until now - can anyone help me? First up, edit out your name and serial number Update your Nero from here, http://www.filehippo.com/download/7717bb2aa35a8a6b405b8322e5dfe50b/download/ Latest firmware is psx3 from here http://www.liteonit.com/DOWNLOADS/ODD/SOSW-852SX/firmware/DR8PSX3.zip It is recommended to have a minimum of 512mb RAM to burn DVDs, suggest you add a further 256mb These are not top quality discs, try Verbatim or Sony (made in Japan)

This indicates your burner doesnt like the discs you are using...as suggested try one of those brands.
