I was thinking of compiling a list of DVD's that are difficult to convert to iPod (or PSP) and sending them to the authors/makers of converting software to see if they can resolve problematic DVD's...

For me the following combinations - AnyDVD and CloneMobile, DVD Decrypter and Videora (PSP9), DVDFab and any of the aformentioned three haven't worked for...

    Chicken Little
    A History of Violence
    The Truman Show
    Chronicles of Narnia

All have the same issue - audio and video are out of sync... some worse (Chicken Little 15-20sec) than others (History of Violence 1-2 sec).

Anyone else experiencing the same problems?

It's weird, I see tons of threads on some of these titles, King Kong gave me no problems, The Patriot only worked with one particular software combination, etc. Kind of hit and miss.

Unfortunately all of the threads relating to some of these videos aren't really pertinent(sp?) since most are in reagrds to disc burning... not sure if the fixes in those threads apply and yes I have tried a couple suggested in the other forum threads to no avail.

If anyone has had any success converting the above mentioed movies to an iPod vidoe or PSP, please list your software combo and any "adjustments" or setting features you used.

    Thanks,

    Bord@Work

You could always you a program that will do it all at once like Cucusoft Suite, or PQ DVD!

If I'm not mistaken CloneMobile is an all in one... really don't want to spend more money on software unless I'm sure it works, i.e. user response/testimonials saying it worked for these particular movies.

i agree with Domeris, myself are using cucusoft, it's nice tool, take a look at http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/321392, you can try before you buy, cucusoft provide full time convertion, not like others, not have 5 minutes or something. Anyway, good luck!
