ive been searching the net for answers to fix this but they are all related to modding, i have now thought about modding because ive discovered how much there is on offer but with my problem i cant get the xbox going to use exploits or mods
Are you able to play original games at all? When you boot up xbox, do you see white microsoft logo appear under XBOX?
error 16 means your clock is not set so your probably missing dashboard file have you ever tried soft modding your xbox?
no theres no microsoft logo and no i havnt tried modding the xbox at all the problem occured when i was watching a dvd - jackie chans new police story, it started skipping so i pressed eject, cleaned it and put it back in then i got the error
i cant load any games/dvds/cds at all ive had it apart and checked all the cables and cleaned out the dust but nothing i found out its a series 1.0 and i have access to a later model with an error 07 if its possible to build one good one from the two
dont worry ill forget this post now, i can get a new one off ebay pretty cheap and ive seen faulty ones go for 60 to 70 au$ but im keen to mod though im sure ill end up with more questions later on
