Hi guys,i'm trying to encode an AVI file into MPEG-1 with TMPGenc, i've done this loads of times and had no problems, However now i get the following error message about 5 minutes into the encoding: "write error occurred at address 00488686 of module TMPGenc with 04F70000." Any suggestions with this one? anything welcome, cheers.

You've got a corrupted file (frames). Either try to re-locate the source again or you'll have to use the hacked VDub (freeze frame fix) to edit out the corrupted frames.

If its just one frame corrupted, then why does it give me error messages at different parts? I'll encode the file it wil then get the error 5 minutes in, and then i'll start encoding again and then it will give the error 2 minutes, then i'll start again and it will be 10 minutes in this time, and so on and so on.
