I was wondering if anyone knew a way to update the divx codec on an outdated insignia dvd player? Are there any self extracting cds I could play in it to do the trick?
I dont think it can be done. What you bought is what you get. Only solution I can think of is to buy a new DVD player. -Del
it can been done if player is certifed as divx or divx ultra u must look on divx page i flashed my sony dvp ns76h to new codec, read the book of your player if your player can be flashed it will say it there

I recommend that you contact RJTech directly to get the firmware upgrades for their RJ 1000HD player. Try: rjtech@rjtech.net and support@rjtech.ca
drewharan..It could be the Movie,Not the Player.I would suggest running it through NanDub, then check it in your Player
