Update the codec?

Hi,

I'm a complete novice at this sort of thing but I'm unable to paly some divX videos and Iv been told I need to update the codec or something

How do I do this???

 

get the divx codec in order to play the video type, install it then try and play the video again in your desired media player

did you install the program?

once installed you can just view the divx in your media player

also please type clearly and write out your sentences fully, or else i wont be able to understand the problem at hand ok?
