I have a problem with updating my M3DS firmware. I've tried updating using R4 formware update and patch it using the patch created by someone nicknamed IQ. The problem is, even if I've sucessfully patched the firmware into a M3DS firmware, I've kind of stucked what should I change the language to, cause when I check the info on my current firmware, it M3DSS <Null> ver 0.00 CRC<f5b34bff>. What language should I turn the english firmware update to so I can update my DS's firmware? Thx in advance
Can't find the edit button so I'll post again. Sorry for double posting. Another strange thing happen, when I check the firmware version by turning on the DS, it says the firmware is R4 ver 1.12 And the card that is used is indeed R4 card. But when I check the _DS_DATA.dat using the patch by a guy(pr maybe girl) named IQ, it says the DS_MENU.dat is for MD3DS in null region. I'm very confused now @_@. Can somebody help me updating the firmware? Edit : Nevermind both of my post. It seems I misread. Actually the firmware shows that it's english version ver 1.21. Don't even know how could I get this version since it's not my DS lol. I've only got one question now, why my DS can't get past the now loading screen when I change the firmware with english version 1.18?
