updating nero 7

    hi
    whats the right way to update nero 7.heres my story......i installed nero 7 from the cd.when it installs the software it asks me to update
    when i try it has to go to the website.then it says it has to uninstall
    the cd installed version so the updates can install.is this better than just installing the updates at the nero website or using the cd??tanks.
