Can updating your DVD drive make your burner read and write DVD-R's? My drive can already read and write DVD+Rs but has trouble with DVD-R's.
Hi, It may be possible. Depends on drive.Probably worth updating f/w anyway.What drive is it & do you know your current f/w?
ok well i dont know anything about drives so i'll to describe it the best i can. It says "[2:0:0] HP DVD Writer 300n" i think its compaq because it came with the computer. I don't know what firmware it is. I would really apperciate it if you showed me how to update it step by step or you can just send me a guide. Thanks in advance
