I want a faster computer, for gaming as well as running programs like PhotoshopCS3, Flash, Corel, etc.
My current computer is from around 2006, it was bought from MDG( a Canadian company).
    here are its specs:
    CPU:2 processors running, Intel(R) Pentium(R) D CPU 2.66GHz
CPU speed:2.67 GHz, rated at 4.80 GHz
    RAM:446 MB
Video card:ATI RADEON XPRESS 200 Series
OS: Windows XP Professional (Build Service Pack 22600)

Should I upgrade this one? Or give a shot at building one(I've never done this before but I think I would be able to) or just buy a new already made one?

Can you find out what motherboard it has and if it supports Core 2 Duos?

The motherboard needs to go then if it's to be upgraded at all. You will probably want to build a new system from scratch, maybe keep the drives. What's your budget for the upgrade?

I'm willing to pay whatever, as long as it works good. I have $1500 saved up for it right now. Also my computers fan is noisy, especially in the summer could that get changed too?

It could be any one of a number of fans. If you change the entire system all the fans will be different. I make quiet PCs a priority.
You say you intend to game on the new system, to what extent?

A fair bit of gaming, but probably not a whole lot, also would like it to be good at multitasking. Possibly have a game running and be able to open a couple of more programs.

Lol, then you could have said something when I posted links from newegg as for one, they don't ship internationally and two, those prices are in US dollars not your own currency. Where do you live?
