upgrade :firmware for Torisan DRD-U824

    i have sony labtop PCG-560 with a dvd torisan DRD-U824 firmware :306G i used all 4 changes ..with Win DVD ..i dont know that its RPC-2 , now how can i go for region free or to be RPC-1 ...i am willing to pay for the person who can upgrade the firmware ..but if its so expensive it may b i ll buy a new DVD ..pls help me with ur advise.

    Sorry, Torisan DRD-U824 doesn't have RPC1 firmware patch available -- if it is not in this site:

    http://firmware.fr.st/

    it just doesn't exist.

    I have the same problem. I own a notebook MAXDATA VISION 450T. use the U824 TORISAN
    IF U GOT THE FIRMWARE LET'S ME KNOW.
