First of all you need to find out if the hard drive you are getting is lockable. Then you need xbox hd maker 1.9.

Why softmod when you can change the case completely or buy one off EBAY! Because there is a millennium falcon xbox going on ebay right now. The link to it is http://i'manidiot.com/ edited by ddp. If you have any question please email me at i'manidiot.com edited by ddp

You should install a chip, because softmods are the SUX. MS can patch that stuff out in no time...

    Just a thought :)

No need to start insulting me my friend, ive been in this business along time and I know my way around things quite well.

Softmods can be screwed up by MS dash updates from certian new games or from xbox live dash updates.

Before attacking me here on these forums, do some research.

Hard mods are way better then softmods any day of the week and any way you look at it. Sure softmods dont cost you anything, but the chances of things screwing up are much greater and if they do screw up you will most probably need to buy a hard mod... install it and recover your system... Ive seen this happen hundreds of times, which is why i stated hard mods are better then softmods.

I am sorry my opion differs from yours, but thats no need for you to start acting like a child and calling me names.

Bottom line is what I am saying is true, hard mods have more benefits then soft mods, and less of a chance of getting screwed up by an MS Dash update.

Our opions may differ, but you need to relax buddy. Dont start insulting people because they dont agree with you, thats just lame man!

Another thing, for a guy that seems to be all for softmods and doesnt really like hardmods all that much... why do you have a hardmod installed in your system? why not just a softmod? There must be a reason behind that....

and thats all i was saying in my original post, there was no reason to attack me.

Anyways lets just end this, there is no need for us to argue here. We are both here to help people out with their modding questions and such.
