i was wondering how to upgrade my BIOS. I want to use the dics method. i have downloaded the X2 BIOS and used X2BM to make it into a 1 mb file. i then burned it onto a cdr with the folder containing dummy files and the BIOS named bios.bin. it just said either no disc or unknown. do i need to use some other kind of media? or is there anything im leaving out. any help would be greatly appreciated._X_X_X_X_X_[small]Jslayer[/small]
do you know where to get bios that supports evox because i have looked everywhere and i cant find any!
well i got the evox BIOS...it runs evox fine but i just want to upgrade try http://haxbox.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownload&cid=4 then get the evox d6 ejectfix bios...thats what i got and it runs evox well
thanks jslayer ,could you also tell me is there a way of updating the bios by putting a disc in the xbox without hooking up the chip to the computer?
i know you can do it for the first BIOS you put on...but i am trying to upgrade my BIOS and im having no luck with the disc method
