I have a copy of the evox 3935 and placed it in the C drive of the xbox. I basically replaced all of the 3921 folders, ini, readme, etc.. with the new 3935 versions. One problem, when it loads it still says I'm running 3921 on the screen. It plays fine, but the Halo 2 trainers don't work. I was told it should say 3935 on the skins. Do I need to change the bios? I'm currently running evox m7 bios. Please help.

i guess replacing your current bios with M8 or Xecuter2 couldn't hurt. is is the dash u want to use called evoxdash.xbe? try going into C clicking on the evoxdash.xbe and if the dash u want boots then the problem is obviouse. if not maybe you missed something. if its not any of that than its probably the bios. try all that and if none of it works than wait for someone more knowlegable to answer your question.

Just do a clean install, ftp into your xbox and delet all of your evoX files, and replace them with the new ones.

I tried reinstalling and still no dice. What about slayers 2.6 auto installer? Would that be a good option? I've backed up the HD so I could be safe. By the way, the dash does say evodash xbe. I'm stilling looking for M8 bios. No luck on xbins. I don't know if I could use Xecuter 2, because I have no idea of what kind of chip is in this thing. Your help has been most appreciated.

Na man, slayers installs a lot of useless stuff onto your xbox. Ftp into your xbox, delet the Evox.ini, Evox.xbe, and skins folder. Then just ftp the new files over. that should be it.
