I just want to know if I can upgrade my regular 8gb factory harddrive to 20gb. I bought the xbox premodded with an Xecuter 2.6 modchip in it, and basic non-upgraded harddrive. Heres the page of where I bought the xbox - http://www.sell.com/22137T
yes you can. just download the autoinstaller disk and burn it to CD/DVD. I have one on my page. just follow the link in my sig. When you got that, we will continue.
Cool! The modded xbox came with the AID dvd so I guess I'm good to go. Also, do I have to install anything extra???
do you have hdd ready? put the big hdd in the xbox (remove the 8gb, don't do anything to it, it is your backup). turn on xbox with aid DVD inside the dvd drive. Xbox will boot the disk. then choose full format hdd. then install dashboard and ms dash. you can install more if you want. Done
