upgrading xbox hd with used hd?

is this possible to upgrade the drive using a used hard drive. if you try to do this with xbhdmanager what will happen?

Just make sure it is on the compatibility list. Most IDE hard drives will work. Also you need to FTP a copy of your EEPROM file and any game saves you want to keep to the PC so you can build them into the new drive.
