Upscale an MP3

    I have a song I want to upscale to sound better, right now its fuzzy and the sound is terrible. How can i fix it?

    You can't. You can't make bad quality good. The best you can do is try to mask it. If you use Winamp, try using the equalizer function to chop out any frequency ranges that will reduce or eliminagte any objectionable noise.

    if you ripped the file from a CD yourself, rip it again at a higher bitrate (for best results use EAC...exact audio copy...see guide in sig below). but as mentioned, once a file is compressed you can't return it to the original quality. if you downloaded it, just try finding another version of it at a higher bitrate.

    a friend made it, and i downloaded it from his podcast, ill just get him to render me a .wav
