hi, ive got a windows 98 disc, however ive lost the product key, how can i get this from the cd itself as i cant seem to find it! many thanks guys! Mark
Actually Win98 SE was a decent OS. With the exception that it ran FAT32 instead of NTFS file system. If you are using an older CPU then Win98 is better than trying to run XP on it. Serial for that are pretty easy to find. The OS is outdated, so there are codes for it on the Internet. You can try one of these: WP4FQ-K339C-TRWBF-TMJCC-KMYVQ TWT44-D9C7X-TKKVW-FKDGM-VK3WY Here is a website that has Win98 Serial numbers as well. http://www.shadowkasters.com/ It is actually against forum policy to give out serials, but because the OS is out of date I don't think they will mind. Or at least I hope they don't!!
