I uninstalled a program, and it got rid of some folders and files i really need... Is there any way I can get it back? Maybe go to system restore point or something?
There ya go. Do a system restore before what you lost. It might work. But don't wait to long as in as we speak. Then COPY what you want to keep (put it in a folder) somewhere else then re delete the program in question. The uninstalled program will know nothing of the new folder and it's contents.
o got most of my files back but missing some key ones, like NBA 2k7 i downloaded that a while ago, the folder is there but it is empty..
Try going back a couple more restore days AFTER you have secured the files you recovered in a folder. COPY that folder to another drive if possable so you have two. Don't leave it on the desktop.
