ok..phone can be unlocked via codes or unlocking cables codes are what u just tried. some phones allow u to only try 3 times other phones give u 5 tires so i hope u only tried ONCE ok the message u got was cannot undo restriction which means that only an unlocking cable can help u now have no fear u have 2 options 1. take it to an unlocking shop and have it done professionally u wil hav to pay a small fee 2. take it to the mobile provider and request that they unlock it after all u did buy it.... u did pay full price for it didnt u? u did get a receipt to show ownership didnt you? so by all rights the phone is your and they had no right to lock it take it to your mobile provier and have it unlocked and they CANT charge you...after all they are unlocking a phone they had no right to lock in the first place... if they do u can complain to the business ombudsman about their bad practise take it to your mobile provider and make the request
