Urgent problem!!! Please help

    Hello guys, I got an urgent problem that really need help.

    I want to move a 12.2GB AVI Video from my mom's laptop to my external hard drive....I use the "send to" option but it says that my file is too large for the destination file system.......what does it mean?? my external hard drive still have bout 50G free space....Can anybody help me, coz it's urgent...My mom has to take the laptop, so I have to backup it very soon....or is it possible to send it from my mom's laptop to another laptop if it cant be done by external HDD??

    Please help, and thank you very much....

    If the external hard drive has a FAT (instead) of NTFS file system there will be a problem.
    The maximum size of any one file on a FAT32 system is 4GB.
