I have done what you wanted to do , but with success. I use Nero burning rom to burn the dvd-r after dvd2one has done its job. Then, I use nero burning rom to make a DVD-video copy of the burned copy. I have also used nero burning rom in "DVD-video compliation" to copy a "dvd-r copy" which was ripped & burned with DVDXCopy. However, whilst the copy plays on standalone DVDplayer, it does'nt play very well when I skip chapters... it freezes.
so best to stick to nero for burned the ripped files and also using nero to make a copy of the copy.

Used nero (dvd copy) and all work, skip chapters included.
Depend from dvdr media and quality of ya standalone dvd-rom, i'm in right?

I had the exact same problem, got read errors when trying to backup a backup.

My problem was down to cheap media.
Had to re-rip and burn from hd.

Changed media to more expensive/reliable and now can copy on the fly with nero/recordnowmax.

    No more re-ripping etc.

Never used bulkpaq, but I believe it is not very recommended for video just standard data.

People have had good success with princo(datawrite/dataclassic) but others have not.

It is a case of trial and error, what works for MAY NOT work for u.

Have a look in the media forum here there will probably be more info to hand.

I have a sony dru500a, datawrite yellow 1x and grey 2x have had no problems at all using nero on the fly but have had trouble using recordnowdx on the fly with them but great for inital burn. Have yet to test red 4x version

    recordnow dx-for inital burn (xp)
nero 5.5.10 express(something like that)copy entire disc on the fly (winme)

its nice to have two hard drives though very good for testing
